My brother Coop and I headed out to the desert in the winter for some winter camping to see what it was like in the desert with some snow. We did an 8.6 mile hike in The Needles District of Canyonlands Nat'l Park, the Chesler Park lasso loop hike. What a great weekend. It got below freezing every night so it got a little cold sleeping but we made it through and it was well worth it. The views were awesome and the snow-covered La Sals were looking better than ever.
